Emmaus Hull & East Riding Emmaus Hull & East Riding supports formerly homeless people by providing a foundation of a home and life changing tailored support.

For many who experience homelessness, one of the biggest obstacles they must overcome is a loss of self-esteem. Emmaus provides people with a stable home and the opportunity to regain their self-worth, making a real contribution to their community. Here at Emmaus we give people a bed and a reason to get out of it! We currently have 3 enterprise stores in which we sell second hand furniture and other donated goods: Furniture Superstore, 32 Lockwood Street, Hull, HU20HJ. Emmaus Emporium, 51 Whitefriargate, Hull, HU1 2HP & Emmaus Newland Avenue, Hull, HU52EN. All our stores are open Monday- Saturday from 9:00am - 16:00pm.

Hull is a community - and we can all play a part 🤝

People who have experienced homelessness can find more than somewhere to stay. They can find community, personalised support and the opportunity to rebuild their lives.

We would like to extend our sincere thanks to Steven for his generous donation of £212, collected at the funeral service of his beloved wife, Helen.

Helen dedicated over 10 years of her life to supporting families and people experiencing homelessness in Hull. Her kindness, compassion and unwavering commitment to helping others left a lasting impact on many lives.

We are deeply grateful that donations made in Helen's memory will help us continue supporting those in need. Helen's caring spirit will live on through the positive difference these funds will make.

💚Donation Appeal💚
Our Outreach team is running low again on non-perishable food items to support the people we work with across East Yorkshire.

As the weather gets colder we also need sleeping bags to help people stay warm.

We are particularly grateful for donations of:
🥫Tinned Beans, Sausages, meatballs and Tuna.
🍫Chocolate and biscuits.
🍪Crisps and other easy to eat snacks.

Every donation, big or small, helps us provide practical support to people who are rough sleeping and facing incredibly difficult circumstances.
