🍂 Watch Your Step This Autumn! 🍂
As we head into the wetter months, grass, paths, and mud are getting more slippy underfoot. Please take extra care on your walks and while out in green spaces.
Wellies and steady steps recommended! 👣🌧️

🌧️ After all the rain we’ve had lately, our local green space is definitely feeling the effects! The ground is soft underfoot, the grass is growing fast, and the plants and trees are soaking up every drop 🌱

While some areas may be a little muddy, nature is thriving, the air is fresh, and the colours are starting to shift as we head into autumn 🍂

If you're heading out for a walk, don’t forget your wellies! Come and enjoy the changing season — there’s still so much beauty to see, even in the rain 💚🌦️

🍂 Seasonal Changes Are on the Way 🍂

As summer begins to wind down, we will start to see the first signs of autumn appearing on the green space. Leaves will slowly be turning golden, berries ripening, and the crisp morning air will be making a return.

Over the coming weeks, expect to see a burst of autumn colours, wildlife getting ready for the colder months, and the orchard trees blooming. It’s the perfect time for peaceful walks, spotting seasonal changes, and enjoying the last warmth of the sun.🍁🍏🐿️

About the community meeting! 🌳
We thought more people might have preferred the meeting tomorrow, as we know people will already be on the greenspace (and we’re still hoping for lots of helping hands at the FoGos work day 🙌). But it looks like the most popular choice is Wednesday 27th August 🗓️✨
If you’d like to have your say, please pop your vote in the comments before 5pm today ⏰
✅ One vote per person (3 votes from the same person won’t be counted 😉).
✅ If you’re commenting on behalf of a neighbour or friend, just mention that in your comment.
✅ Want to keep it private? No problem — just drop us a DM! 💌
✅️ We can video the meeting for those who can't make it in person.
✅️ Also, now can we take a vote for outdoors or indoor as we know some of you aren't great at standing, we may need some spare garden chairs if you can bring them along for others too
Thanks everyone for getting involved — every bit of support makes a difference! 🌱💚
