👏Congrats to our newest and youngest member Kieran on completing his first project.

🤝 Sheds are all about peer mentoring, our members are always on hand to help each other and pass on the skills they’ve learned.

Having not used any tools before, Kieran’s first project combined the use of…

I’m stepping out of the shadows
and stepping into the sun,
the time for hiding is over
dark days are over and done!
I’m looking forward to a future
filled with laughter and friends,
you had my back when I needed
and help straighten out so many bends.
So many people have helped me
to take one step at a time,
I cannot thank you all individually

🏆We were so honoured to be shortlisted for an award at The HEY Smile Foundation HEY Charity Awards, even more so to be given the award in the Health & Wellbeing category.

Like most small charities, we started from humble beginnings, just a few men in a single room with a common goal. We have grown and evolved over the last few years aiming to improve our members wellbeing and give something back to our local community. To be recognised in this way at such a large awards ceremony, against some fantastic organisations is truly heart warming and very unexpected.

🫶A lot of hard work goes on behind the scenes and none of this would be possible without the hard work from our Trustees, Volunteers and the support from our community, supporters and funders. 🪺we have returning guests at the shed, they’ve never nested in our display bird boxes though.

So nice to watch them in and out the box all day feeding the babies.
