We are a Hull based children's charity whose aim is to widen the horizons and raise the aspirations of children in care in this city through a range of learning experiences. We are part of Hull Children's University which is a registered charity.The Children-in-Care programme provides bespoke learning experiences outside of school hours for children in care. We aim to widen children’s horizons and

raise their aspirations by providing them with a range of different experiences. With a special focus on the social and emotional development of children, we aim to give them that extra support needed to flourish in their environment. This intervention aims to promote a love of reading and develop English and maths skills. It is run in collaboration with the Book Trust.
