DropPoint is a free to use platform for people to pass on items to charitable causes. We have a network of nonprofit organisations each listing items they currently need. This lets members of the public, businesses and other nonprofit groups search for recipients of items they no longer have a use for. We’re big believers in doing our part for the environment, as well as supporting local and natio
nal charity efforts; donating surplus items is an ideal way to reduce your carbon footprint whilst benefiting somebody in need. Previously there was no platform suitable for this information, so we decided to build it. Where do donations come from? Sheds, spare bedrooms, storage containers, stockrooms, festival campsites, police stations, airports, as well as other charities just to name a few of the ones we already know about. Where do I find charities to donate to? You can use the item search on our interactive map if you’re looking to donate specific items, or alternatively searching in your local region will bring up donation opportunities in your community.
