Winter Farm Fridays starting Nov 6th at Lovebrook!!!

Can’t wait to get started on our winter community programme…especially our new look Friday session.

All are welcome to join us every Friday through the season to get involved in all the site wide aspects of the farm. We have hundreds of trees to plant, mulching to do, pruning, planting, propagating, creating new areas of the farm and lots more.

The sessions will be a blend of learning , sharing knowledge, hands on practical tasks…and of course meeting new friends and making community connections.

Plus plenty of hot drinks flowing and a nourishing hot lunch provided by us at the end which is always a highlight.

You can commit to the whole season, which is a great way to have a winter anchor to the land at a time of year we really need it most. Or you are also very welcome to drop in when you can make it.

Join Florist Fran Zoutewelle for an autumnal dried flower wreath-making workshop.

If you are looking to get creative, try your hand at wreath making with dried flowers or want to enjoy a mindful afternoon in nature & good company, then this is the event for you!

The session will start with a demonstration from Fran about how to create a wreath using willow and a range of dried flowers- all grown at Lovebrook!

She will explain techniques, designs and offer tips and tricks on how to use a range of natural materials to create a unique, long-lasting wreath to take home. Then you will have free time to curate your wreath, with Fran and her assistant on hand to help.

No previous experience is needed — this workshop is perfect for beginners and creatives alike!

This free meet-up is for anyone who is part of the Lovebrook seed saving community or wants to get involved in all things seed saving!

After the success of our seed saving talk with Kate earlier in the year, we realised there are so many people like us who are passionate about this topic. So why not come along and meet over a cup of tea.

n the meet-up, we will save seeds, share seeds, discuss what we are all growing, and it will be an opportunity to learn/ offer adivice. So whether you are green-fingered or new to growing, this relaxed meet-up is open to all.

Join us for a morning gathering at Lovebrook to celebrate Samhain with yoga, sauna and an escape into nature.

The Wheel of the Year is an ancient Celtic calendar of eight festivals that celebrate our connection with nature, signalling a shift in the season, weather, and the natural world around us. Samhain (pronounced sow-win) or “summer’s end” marks the start of the Wheel of the Year, the end of the harvest season, and as the cold air pushes life back underground, the journey to the dark half of the year signals rest and relaxation, a time to reflect on the past and plan for the future. The mystical veil between worlds thins and we honour both the seen and the unseen.

So make the most of your weekendad enjoy a relaxed morning to reset and cleanse for the coming winter.

The world’s problems can feel overwhelming, leaving many of us wondering if a single person can make a difference.

If you want a fairer society and a more beautiful world but are not sure how to make a difference or where you fit into this big puzzle, you are not alone!

Join Sam to discover how your unique gifts, values, and talents can fuel meaningful change. In this interactive session, we will use Deepa Iyer’s Social Change Map to help you identify your specific role— for example, weaver, caregiver, disruptor, builder. You will leave with clarity on how to take sustainable action without burning out!

This is going to be a fun and insightful interactive workshop, suitable for all. So come along for a wonderful session with Sam and the Lovebrook community.

Such a joy to be packing our veg boxes this morning!!!

It’s been a while since I have done it, and there is no better way to smell, feel and be totally in touch with our veggies than this. What a gift the land gives us, especially at this time of year.

An abundance of fresh, crisp, colourful and nutritious veg, all chemical free, grown with love and hand picked this morning ….

And contrary to popular opinion - also very affordable!! We intentionally keep our prices as low as we can, so as many people as possible can afford to eat seasonal, locally and chemical free. We are a community interest company so we don’t exist to make profit. We exist to serve our community, and create benefit for those that engage with us.

So a medium veg box is £13 and a large is £18.50 and they are both stuffed full of everything you need for the week.

Try one - I don’t think you will be disappointed. 💖💖💖

Family Nature Club: Saturday 26th @ 10am

It's going to be another fun week at nature club and this saturday we will be collecting seeds from the Market garden as part of our seed-saving project.

The magical seeds harvested will become next summer's veggies and we will learn about the importance of seeds, growing and harvesting.

Plus there will be time to explore the land and autumnal crafts too 🎃🎃🎃

It's going to be a brilliant session, and we can't wait to see you there 🌱🍁🌱🍁
