VINTAGE BUS RUNNING DAY SATURDAY 19TH SEPTEMBER 2026

Following last year’s hugely successful partnership between Kingsbridge Age Concern @ Kingsbridge Care Hub and the Thames Valley and Great Westen Omnibus Trust (TVGWOT) during their annual Vintage Bus Running Day, we are doing it all over again!

Come and make the most of your once-a-year opportunity to enjoy the area riding long lost bus routes on an incredible array of heritage vehicles – and to ensure you don’t go hungry, just pop round the corner to the Care Hub for bacon and sausage baps in the morning and jacket potatoes with a choice of toppings in the afternoon.

All we ask is a donation please which will be shared between the Care Hub and TVGWOT.

In addition we will have a variety of hot drinks and ice creams available to purchase.

The Vintage Bus Running Day is one of the town’s very special events and you won’t want to miss a minute as the ‘omnibuses’ come and go so all refreshments can be taken away or enjoyed in the Care Hub in between journeys.

Put the date in your diaries now – Saturday 19th September 2026!
(Please note, there will be no usual Breakfast Service that morning)
