The Waterside Centre - the best kept secret in social care
The Waterside Centre is the best keept secret in social care in the Dacorum/Watford area! Whenever people visit us for the first time they ask “How long have you been here” to which we reply “27 years”. They are also surprised to see all our service users actively engaged doing something meaningful for them, and to see our walls covered in work that they have done.
Waterside IS the best day centre in the area without a doubt. It has a stable and committed staff team. We do not use agency staff, our existing part time staff cover staff absences. Once our staff members have joined us, they tend to stay until they retire, we don’t have a retention problem, so our service users always know the people caring for them.
Visits are welcome, just let us know you are coming so that we have someone available to show you around.
