The UKs CFR scheme was set up to improve the chances of surviving a cardiac arrest, particularly in more remote areas. When the chances of survival are measured in minutes, remote doesnt have to be the top of a hill or the middle of the marsh!
Research and data collection on the subject show that really early intervention is the key to a positive outcome.
What better way to improve the chances of that happening than give everyone the chance to learn it at school?
If you have a group or school that would like some CPR training, we can point you in the right direction.

CPR is on the curriculum, so why are so many students missing out?

2025 research shows that nearly 4 in 10 UK secondary school students say they haven’t received CPR training in school.

We’re calling on governments and local authorities to follow through on their commitments by improving support for schools and introducing systems to track CPR education, so every student gets the lifesaving skills they deserve.

Tiny team in Marham that operates separate from the base, during November December and January we have averaged 200 hours per month on call. We've attended 60 calls at the request of East of England Ambulance Service NHS Trust. These aren't all 999 calls, some originate from Doctors Surgeries, some from 111 calls. They all come to us via the local Ambulance Service.

Thanks Rob for your efforts and the time you've given the local community on a voluntary basis over the past few years. πŸ‘πŸ»πŸ™
