Today is Carers Rights Day come along and see us.

🌟 Today is Carers Rights Day! 🌟
The theme this year is "Recognising Your Rights" – a day to highlight the legal entitlements and support available to unpaid carers. Every day, thousands of people care for a loved one without realising the rights they have, from unpaid leave to flexible working.

As a carer, knowing your rights empowers you to seek the support you deserve. Key rights include:
βœ… The right to unpaid leave
βœ… Flexible working arrangements
βœ… Being identified as a carer by your GP
βœ… Protection against discrimination
βœ… Access to a carer’s assessment
βœ… Involvement in hospital discharge plans

πŸ“ Join West Norfolk Carers today (Thursday 21 November) at these locations for info & advice:
β€’ QEH Main Foyer – 10am to 2pm
β€’ College of West Anglia – 10am to 2pm
β€’ Heacham Medical Practice – 10am to 2pm

πŸŽ™οΈ Tune in to Radio West Norfolk at 9:20am for an interview with Simon Rowe about the importance of recognising unpaid carers.

Take a moment to learn more about your rights and ensure you're getting the support you need! πŸ’ͺπŸ’™
