The Grouse is the final trophy weekend of the season, four races over two days, weather permitting of course. Day one was not as windy as the forecast had suggested which gave good sailing.
With a win each, Euan and Bob are neck and neck after two races.

After lack of enough wind a fortnight ago, there was enough today that all boats had a reef in. The two Quests stuck together downriver and half way back when the dreaded dead spot near Sleepless Inch allowed James Curley and crew Dave find the breeze first and surge into the lead. Meanwhile the Vision seemed to be having a bad day making a late start and ending with a broken tiller and a tow home.

It took two attempts but we got to Milhurst (and back) today. Conditions were quite tricky.

A rather more sedate day for day 2 of the learners course …. very little wind 💨 . Ended with a bit of capsize practice.
