In memory of Alan, who sadly passed away on 2nd June 2026 following a battle with Cancer.

Alan was also living with Parkinson’s, following a diagnosis in 2023.

To honour Alan's memory, the family would like to raise awareness of Parkinson's and supporting the vital work carried out by Parkinson's UK.

Gone Home - Alan Roy

It is with great sadness that we have to inform you that our very active Explorer Scout Leader Alan Roy, passed away peacefully at Crosshouse in the early hours of this morning.

Our thoughts and prayers are with Trudy, Abbey and Katie at this really tough time.

Alan was an inspiration to so many that knew him and his legacy lives on in his family and his active and engaging approach to Scouting.

Good effort from all who took part, and top marks to the Scouts who got up early this morning to have a look at the milking and a wee walk round the farm.

Thanks goes to the Farmer who once again let us use his land.
