The group is a member of the Scottish Playgroup and Pre-school Association but is run by its own members. Children take part in many activities throughout the year such as arts and crafts, music and active play. Sessions
Held at Whitehirst Park Community Centre, West Doura Court, Kilwinning. Please not
e if you miss three consecutive weeks you will forfeit the allocated place(s). If you are unable to continue with the sessions we would be grateful if you could inform the group so the place can be offered to someone on the waiting list. However, if you are unable to attend for a few weeks please let us know so we can hold the child’s place. Fees
Registration £2.00 per child/year
Weekly fee £2.00 for 1st child
£1.00 each subsequent child
£1.00 for missed weeks
Fees are used to pay the rent on the hall and purchasing of snacks as well as activities for the children. Each registered child will receive a gift at Easter and Christmas. Fees also pay for parties and outings. Please note there will be no fees taken at sessions when a party is organised. Parent/Guardian Duties
The smooth running of the group relies on co-operations from EVERY ADULT including visitors to the group. Duties include preparing the children’s snack and juice, making teas/coffees for the adults, washing, drying and tidying away all plates, cups etc. Help is also required with setting up/tidying away of toys along with general “housekeeping” and is the responsibility of everyone in the group. We all appreciate that not everyone can help every week depending on the age and mood of your child! We ask that you help when you can, as this will keep everyone happy. From time to time we will also ask for help with other work, for example, toy cleaning and fundraising etc. Any help you can give the group is appreciated
