Emotional day for us today, as we reach our 2nd birthday we have made the decision to step back from our roles as facilitators of our Women's Group 🌹

We are delighted that the group will continue to run as a legacy group 💜
The woman will be taking on the running of the sessions, run by them for them and any new faces who would like to come along.

The group will continue to run fortnightly on a Friday, 10-12 at the Nethermains Community Centre in Kilwinning THE INSTITUTE AT NETHERMAINS/BLACKLANDS
If you are interested in attending you can still message our page for details🌹

It has been an absolute joy and privilege to host the Women's Wellbeing Group for the past 18 months, and a special thank you to Louise Shaw and Corra Foundation who initially approached us with the idea, and it just grew from there.

We have so much love for all the Women who have attended any of our Women's events, we have shared laughter, tears and too many stories that luckily are bound by the 'what's said in the group stays in the group' rule!

Not just attendees but now friends and always Rock and Rose Family💜

Love

Louise & Kirsteen x

📣 We know that the exam period can be a stressful time for young people and recent research from Mind reports that up to 63% of students struggle to cope, leading to anxiety, panic attacks, depression, and burnout.

Did you know - if you are struggling - that the Council has free, in the moment mental health support via text message available from Shout?

The text-based service offers tailored support to people of all ages in North Ayrshire whenever they need it.

To access support via text, you can simply text SUPPORTNA to 85258 to be connected there and then to a trained Shout Volunteer.

This text-based service can provide confidential support with:

• Anxiety and stress
• Depression and sadness
• Suicidal thoughts and self-harm
• Panic attacks
• Loneliness and isolation
• Bullying and abuse

Shout Advisors are on hand to help 24 hours a day, seven days a week when things get tough or if you are feeling overwhelmed or need support.

Each conversation is overseen by a Clinical Supervisor and assessed for risk, ensuring that a conversation is never closed when there is an imminent risk to someone’s life.

During the exam period, if you're looking for helpful hints and tips to take care of your wellbeing and improve your productivity, visit the Parent Club website: https://www.parentclub.scot/articles/how-cope-exam-stress
