With funding from Inspiring Scotland this modern and cutting edge new facility based on Soulis Street will provide young a safe and secure environment where they can access a wide range of creative, dynamic and innovative activities that yipworld have experience of delivering for over 12 years. Activities provided will allow the young people of Kilmarnock the opportunity to develop socially, educa
tionally and emotionally. Membership is completely free to all and resources available include: laptops with internet access, games consoles, pool tables as well as contemporary and traditional youth work methods, including DJ workshops, drama, health initiatives, cooking and music. Future opportunities may include volunteering to promote active citizenship for young people and adults. YWorld will also provide information on a wide range of issues and topics, such as sexual health, careers and employment. Opening times are Wednesday & Thursday evening from 7pm – 9pm and is open for anyone in 3rd year secondary school and above.
