Every penny raised goes towards supporting our Tiny Toes and Tots groups, helping us continue providing valuable sessions for local families and little ones.

A special thank you to Craig and Daryl for supporting Conker every step of the way and making sure he got over the finish line. He truly wouldn’t have made it through without them, the teamwork was incredible to see. 💙

We're delighted to share that Music at the Park raised an incredible £4,201, with proceeds being shared equally between The Killie Community and Alzheimer Scotland.

The event brought together 268 people for a fantastic evening of music, laughter and community spirit at The Park Hotel, with a brilliant line-up of performers, including Jai McDowall and his father, helping to make it a night to remember.

This achievement wouldn't have been possible without the support of everyone who bought a ticket, donated, volunteered, performed or helped behind the scenes. Thank you also to our partners at Alzheimer Scotland and The Park Hotel for helping make the event such a success.

We're proud of the funds raised, however what stood out most was seeing people come together, make new memories and support causes that make a real difference across Ayrshire. Thank you 💜💛

While at Ayrshire College, Ciara first approached The Killie Community to try volunteering, despite knowing “nothing about football”.

Through weeks of volunteering, she discovered a passion for working with people using the power of football, and completed training to deliver our Wellbeing programmes. She went on to create our weekly Circuits programme, our Care Homes programme, and became one of the first cohort of females in Ayrshire to achieve her UEFA C Licence. Her work earned her a nomination for an East Ayrshire Award.

Since then, Ciara has become employed by the charity and has more recently helped create Killie Tiny Toes - an inclusive group for babies and their guardians aged 0–18 months, providing a welcoming space for young families to connect and learn through play.

Ciara’s story shows how volunteering can not only build confidence, develop skills, but also create real career opportunities for young people in East Ayrshire.

📻 Listen again to BBC Radio Scotland’s feature on The Killie Community's visit to Hampden Park, with our Education & Football Development Lead, Craig Tracey, speaking about what the experiences meant to the young people involved.

As part of a Scottish FA competition, pupils from East Ayrshire’s Loanhead Primary and Gargieston Primary had the opportunity to design artwork for the Scotland National Team’s World Cup luggage before being invited to Hampden to see the finished cases, tour the national stadium and meet players.

We’re grateful to BBC Radio Scotland and the Scottish FA for highlighting the positive impact being made through football.

What an amazing experience for our ‘Gargie’ Girls and Loanhead pupils.

From designing artwork for the Scotland team’s World Cup suitcases to visiting Hampden Park and seeing their creations on display, it was a day to remember. A special chance to meet Scotland players and make memories for life 👏💙
