Kirknarra School of Dance Kirknarra School of Dance hosts Scottish Highland Dance classes in both Kilkeel and Annalong!

Formed in 1998, Kirknarra School of Dance facilitates Highland Dance Classes tutored by Kathryn Stewart on a weekly basis in Reivers House, Kilkeel and Annalong! Our dancers have successfully competed in Highland Dance Championships right across Ulster and on the Scottish mainland as well as performing at The Belfast Tattoo and with the Royal Military Tattoo at Gleneagles! e are also regularly seen in the Greater Mournes area performing at many local charitable events and functions and of course the annual Reivers Ulster-Scots Festival in Kilkeel! Our classes are open to everyone and we would encourage you to come along and get involved in this very important part of our Ulster-Scots culture! A huge 𝗖𝗢𝗡𝗚𝗥𝗔𝗧𝗨𝗟𝗔𝗧𝗜𝗢𝗡𝗦 to two of our senior Kirknarra Highland Dancers, Rachel Wilson and Mya Campbell who were competing today in 𝐋𝐨𝐧𝐝𝐨𝐧 at the Tartan Thistle Dance Festival! 🤩

Amazing results for the girls, who were competing for the first time in the choreography section, where they won their duet in the Premier Group! 🏆 🎉

A huge well done also to…

✨ Rachel who won 𝗢𝗩𝗘𝗥𝗔𝗟𝗟 in her group, Premier Age 11-16! 🎉 🏆

This was a fantastic opportunity for the girls, and everyone in Kirknarra School of Dance is very proud of them - their commitment, determination and hard work has paid off! 🙌
