We are delighted to have Danny Doran Music Arts Crafts singing for us tomorrow. Danny is always fabulous and our folks love his sessions.

Enormous thanks to Liz and Pete for their amazing donation of handmade crocheted blankets which Rosemary will ensure are put to good use in local care homes. Terri is also pictured. Thanks to Wendy for collecting all the blankets and for bringing them in to us. Well done everyone - a great team effort!

We'd like to say an enormous thanks to Donald who visited us yesterday to show us his amazing photos and videos of local areas.

We all had a lovely time and you could hear our folks singing along to the lovely background music in the presentation. One of our folks had an amazing connection to the photos as he used to be in the mountain rescue team in his younger years. The photo's took him right back to that time and he was telling us some stories of events he was involved with. More than one of us had happy tears in our eyes seeing him relive those years again. Moments like these are absolutely precious as we all have new things to talk to this man about that will bring him happiness. Huge thanks again Donald for your time, wonderful pics/video and for making this man's day.

This week marks the start of and is a vital time to recognise the extraordinary people who care for those that need help.

Carers give selflessly, often unseen, providing comfort, dignity, and love. They deserve our deepest gratitude and recognition for the amazing, life-changing work they do every single day.

Recognition for carers is long overdue and they deserve support on all levels to to be seen for the fabulous people that they are.

We will also be remembering Fintan’s sister Aileen who would have been 53 today but we sadly lost her just 2 days after her 50th birthday back in 2023. 💔 Aileen would definitely want you to have a double Bacardi and Coke for her.
