CURAD Project CURAD or Clothes Upcycling, Recycling and Distribution is a CETMA Project. CURAD or Clothes Upcycling, Recycling and Distribution is a new CETMA Project.

Clothing will be recycled for sale or up cycled to make clothing accessories to help fund the project. We are setting up a knit and natter club to help make New Born Baby Bundles, scarves, hats and gloves and dementia mittens. These items will be available via a referral from an organisation, health visitor or social worker etc. Some of the material that is donated will be used to make new items e.g. tablet covers or bags. We are looking for volunteers who are interested in sewing, knitting and having fun. All ages welcome! We will take in:
Pillow cases/duvert covers to be turned into dresses
Wool blankets for ponchos
Wool for various uses
Old clothes
Denim, has multiple uses
Fabric
