KDYT We also work in schools and with other agencies to ensure that young people can access support and guidance when they need it.

KDYT provide activities to young people six days a week, we run youth club sessions, trips out, residential weekends, detached youth work sessions and much more. 🌞THAT’S A WRAP ON OUR SUMMER EVENTS! 🌞

And just like that, our summer events have come to an end! We’ve had such a brilliant six weeks getting out into the community, meeting new faces, catching up with familiar ones and, most importantly, having lots of fun! 🎉

A huge thank you to every young person, family and member of the community who came along and made our events so special.

We’d also like to say a massive thank you to all of the amazing partners who joined us throughout the summer and helped make these events possible. Your time, support and activities have made such a difference!

A massive thank you to Community Housing, CAMHS WEST and West Mercia Police for supporting us and helping make the day such a success.

ONE WEEK TO GO!

It’s hard to believe we’re heading into the final week of our summer programme!

We’ve had a fantastic summer so far, visiting different parks and community spaces, meeting young people and families, and bringing plenty of activities and fun to our local communities.

Today we joined the Wyre Forest Community Café & Food Share in The Walshes for a fantastic afternoon of activities, conversations and community connection!

It was brilliant to be joined by West Mercia Police, CAMHS West, Family Hubs and Worcestershire Cricket Foundation, giving young people and families the opportunity to meet different services, have a chat and get involved. 💬

What a brilliant day at Burlish Bike Park! 🚲

We had a packed session with plenty to get involved in — from axe throwing
and table tennis to crafts and games!

It was great to see young people getting stuck in, trying something new, and spending time together in the community. 💚

Another lovely evening of detached youth work, catching up with young people at the skate park and having some really important conversations.

Today we talked about the recent local wildfires, fire safety and how young people can help keep themselves, their friends and our community safe when spending time outdoors! 👨‍🚒🌳
