🌈 We’re proud to have achieved LGBTQ+ Housing Pledge Pioneer Status!

This recognition reflects the work we are doing to make our services and communities welcoming and inclusive for everyone.
Since signing the LGBTQ+ Housing Pledge in 2025, we’ve been listening to LGBTQ+ customers, improving our services, providing specialist training and increasing LGBTQ+ visibility across our communities.

Achieving Pioneer Status is an important milestone – but our work continues.

We’ll keep listening, learning and working to make sure everyone feels safe, respected and welcome at Community Housing.

If you’re able to save, even a small amount regularly can start to add up. You could save towards an unexpected bill, Christmas or something you’ve been planning for.

During the check, a qualified engineer will make sure your gas appliances are working safely and check for any problems that could put you at risk ⚠️

It’s important that we can carry out this check every year. If we contact you to arrange an appointment, please work with us to find a suitable time and make sure we can get into your home 🏠

🎓 Aged 19+ and looking for your next step?

We’re working with Kidderminster College on a programme to support local people aged 19+ who are not currently in work, education or training.

The programme will help you build your confidence and skills to take the next step towards work or further training.

We will also be supporting the programme with practical help, including expert talks, interview experience and assessment centre practice to help you prepare for future job opportunities.

When someone visits your home to carry out a gas safety check, ALWAYS ask to see their ID before letting them in.

Our colleagues and contractors will be happy to show you their ID and give you time to check it ✅

🤔 If you’re not sure who someone is, don’t take a chance. Keep your door closed and contact us to check before letting them into your home.

🧑🏻‍🦽 Details have been released for Walkabout Wednesday in the Sutton Farm area on Wednesday 30 September. ♿

📍Starting point is at 10am at Carter Court.

This is your chance to discuss any issues or concerns or just to socialise, have a chat and meet new people. We cover all areas of the estate, and various partners and agencies will also be invited to be in attendance.

Everyone's welcome! These walks are designed for all ages and abilities. Whether you're pushing a pram, using a wheelchair or mobility aid, or just fancy a gentle stroll, we'll make sure you can take part. Need a bit of extra support? Just let us know in advance and we'll sort it out.
