We would like to congratulate all those who participated and passed today's grading. Every grading is a reminder of why grassroots martial arts matter. These students have shown real commitment, and their progress embodies the spirit of Tang Soo Do - discipline, respect, and personal growth.

While we sort out the video clips from this morning, here are a couple of random shots from the event.

This week’s lesson was basic partner work, followed by a fun sparring session.

We focused on clean technique, good control, and helping your partner improve - not just trying to score a quick tap.

Everyone worked on timing, distance, and reading movement, and it was great to see students applying what they’ve learned in a safe, respectful way.

A brilliant session with lots of progress and plenty of smiles.

Today’s sparring session was all about technique over power. No rushing, no swinging for the sake of it - just clean movement, smart choices, and learning to read what’s in front of you.

When students slow down and focus on timing, distance, and good form, sparring becomes safe, fun, and incredibly rewarding.

Everyone walked away smiling, learning, and improving - exactly how it should be.😊

A short light and fun sparring session at the end of the lesson. A round robin of matches - while the video is running at 5x speed, each of the competitors do constantly develop their skills by taking their time for both attack and defence.

This week's lesson was on Pyung Ahn Ee Dan (Heian Nidan in Japanese karate).

We were looking at stances, hip rotations, and transitioning through the movements. Then after that, we tried out a few applications.
