We had a very productive planning meeting this evening and are really looking forward to getting back to Rainbows in September. We have lots of fun stuff lined up and will hopefully get our next Theme Badge and Interest badges ticked off the list. See you all on Wednesday 19th September. We will send out reminders nearer the time. 🌈

You may have seen news articles in the media about our new uniform. It will be for sale on-line and in our County Shop - have a look at the photos below.

But I want to re-assure you all that if you have the original uniform you do not need to go out and buy replacements. New starters can get the new uniform but we will not be insisting that current Rainbows replace their existing tops, hoodies or bottoms. Any questions just get in touch with Puffin or Robin and we will do our best to help 🌈

Don't forget there is no Rainbows tonight because of the Summer Holidays. If you are looking for things to do Kettering By the Sea is up and running with lots of free activities every day if you want to pop down to the Market Place and join in the fun

Wow, what an evening!

It was the last meeting before the summer break, and we asked if everyone could wear something green 💚 for our Awards night in honour of completing our Eco Award. We got to hand out so many awards!

🌈 2 Pots of Gold

And we also had a special moment when 2 of our girls took their Promise. Brilliant evening and time for a rest over the summer holidays. See you all in September for even more adventures ###

It was our absolute privilege to award Phoebe with her Rainbows Gold 🏅award tonight. Phoebe has worked so hard to achieve one of each of the Theme, Stage and Interest badges since she first joined us and she brought in all her badges, certificates and medals that she has earned during her time with us. Congratulations Phoebe, we are sad to see you go but you are going to love Brownies ⭐🌈

First post for a very full evening tonight - we were supposed to be going out this evening and planting our seed bombs but it was far too hot for that. So we stayed inside and made paper fans. We also have an example of a seed bomb that was planted last week, we also forgot to send the seeds home, and we forgot so please remind us next week or we could have plants growing in the cupboard 🤦🏻‍♀️

After a little break last week we are back and completing a bit more of our Eco Badges. Tonight we made seed bombs out of some lovely seed varieties and soil. We are going to let them dry out a little bit and next week we will be hiding them near our meeting place. Watch this space for more updates next week!
