What a truly wonderful day we had at Loddfest on Saturday!

Seeing so many smiling faces, children running around laughing and playing, friends and neighbours coming together, and everyone enjoying themselves made all the hard work completely worthwhile. Events like this don't just happen by themselves, and we'd like to say a huge thank you to everyone who helped make the day such a success.

Thank you to all of our amazing sponsors for their generous support, to the stallholders and entertainers who helped create such a fantastic atmosphere, to our first aid team and everyone working behind the scenes to keep the event running smoothly, and especially to every single volunteer who gave up their time before, during and after the event. Your hard work, dedication and community spirit are what make Loddfest possible.

We'd also like to give a huge shout out to Charlie Stone and the team at NN Media. Acting as our comperes and sound engineers throughout the day, they helped keep everything running smoothly and really pulled the whole event together. Their energy, support and expertise made a massive difference, and we're incredibly grateful for all their hard work.

It was also great to see so many entries in the dog show, which proved to be a popular attraction once again.

Thank you to everyone who attended. Whether you came for an hour or stayed all day, bought raffle tickets, enjoyed the food and drink, took part in activities, or simply came along to support the event, thank you. Your support means so much.

We're currently finalising all the figures and adding up the money raised, and we're delighted to say that we will be announcing the total profit made for St Leonard's Church in the coming days.

We'll also be announcing the date for Loddfest 2027 soon. As we start planning for the next event, we'd love to hear your ideas and suggestions for what you'd like to see in the future.

One thing we do know is that Loddfest relies entirely on volunteers. To help us plan ahead with confidence, we'll be looking to build our volunteer team much earlier this time around. If you've ever thought about getting involved, even for a few hours, we'd love to hear from you over the coming months. Many hands really do make light work, and every volunteer plays a part in making the day such a success.

Thank you all for helping create such a memorable day. We hope you enjoyed it as much as we did, and we look forward to seeing you again in 2027!

🎉 We've been busy getting everything set up and we're nearly ready to welcome you all to Loddfest 2026!

Join us for what promises to be a fantastic day and evening filled with fun, great entertainment, delicious food and drink, and plenty of activities for all ages. 🥳

🎉 LODDFEST 2026 IS TOMORROW! 🎉

The countdown is nearly over and we can't wait to welcome everyone for a fantastic day of family fun, entertainment, food, music and community spirit.

📅 Date: Tomorrow
📍 Location: Glebe Field, Harrington Road, Loddington NN14 1JZ
⏰ Gates open from 2pm

A few useful reminders before you arrive:

💧 Bottled water will be available to purchase, and FREE tap water refill stations will be available throughout the day. Please bring a refillable water bottle if you can.

☀️ Check the weather forecast and come prepared. Don't forget sunscreen, hats and suitable clothing.

💷 Cash is king! Many of our stalls and activities prefer cash where possible. We will have a card reader available at the bar and will be able to offer cashback to help keep you topped up throughout the day.

🚲 If you're local, please consider walking or cycling to the event where possible. It helps reduce traffic and parking pressure and makes getting in and out much easier for everyone.

🚗 If you're driving, please follow steward instructions for parking and allow a little extra time on arrival as we expect the event to be busy.

👧 Children must be accompanied and supervised by a responsible adult at all times.

🪑 Feel free to bring camping chairs or picnic blankets so you can relax and enjoy the entertainment.

🎟️ Every penny raised helps support St Leonard’s Church, so thank you for supporting Loddfest.

🚨 **Face Painter Needed for Loddfest Tomorrow!** 🚨

Unfortunately, we've had a last-minute cancellation from the face painter we had booked for Loddfest.

We're urgently looking for a face painter who may be available tomorrow between **2:00pm and 5:00pm** to help keep lots of excited children smiling!
