Kendal Civic Society The Executive Committee consists of twelve Trustees and as many co-opted members as necessary. Secretary and Treasurer.

An amenity organization run by volunteers to preserve the best of what is left of Kendal’s past and promote the best of the new to ensure that a vibrant, historic, picturesque and interesting town is passed on town is passed on to future generations. Kendal Civic Society is an amenity organization run by volunteers who, as our mission statement indicates, wish not only to preserve the best of what is left of Kendal’s past but also to promote the best of the new to ensure that a vibrant, historic, picturesque and interesting town is passed on to future generations. The Society is governed by our President, Susie Bagot of Levens Hall, although the day-to-day running is carried out by an Executive Committee of members elected annually at the AGM. The officers of the Society consist of a Chairman, Vice Chairman, Hon. The Council can then be split into smaller sub-committees as required.

The 2025 ANNUAL GENERAL MEETING
of the KENDAL CIVIC SOCIETY
will be held at
7.30 pm on Tuesday 25 March 2025
in the Castle Street Centre, Kendal

This is a reminders that the AGM will take place in the Large Room at the Castle Street Centre. The committee very much hopes that Members will be able to join us.

The formal session of the AGM will be followed by refreshments after which Paul Crosby, a member of our committee, will talk about his unique 18,000 mile journey on a motor bike from Chennai in India to Kendal.

There will be a limited number of copies of the Agenda and accounts available in printed form at the AGM but it would help immensely if as many members as possible would either print out their own copies or download a copy to their phone/tablet from the email you received on 3 March 2025.
