Please bring your blunt things along to our coffee morning at Levens Methodist Church on Saturday 8th June (10am onwards)!

BREAKING NEWS 😁 KingSharp will be going on actual real holibobs next weekend so please get your blunt things sharpened this week or book in for week beginning June 17th 🗓️

Last time we were on holiday, Boris called lockdown and we had to come home!! Fingers crossed we will manage a whole week this time 🤞

Meanwhile here’s where I’ll be this week. All work done on board the van outside your house or business premises - or outside Beetham Nurseries on Friday and Levens Methodist Church on Saturday morning.

New Asian Hornet queens start emerging at this time of the year. If you identify one, please report it.

- To identify, check it is mostly black with yellow legs, and smaller than the European hornet.

- To report, use the Asian Hornet Watch app (Apple or Android) or via the NNSS website at https://www.nonnativespecies.org/non-native-species/information-portal/view/3826

Please spread the word; these insects have a devastating effect on already embattled pollinator populations, and are a potentially significant threat to the public.
