We'd like to introduce everyone to beautiful Aspen, our 9-year-old half Siamese girl - She came into our care with a history of recurring urinary tract infections. After completing a course of antibiotics and pain relief, sadly her condition showed no improvement 💔

Last week Aspen underwent X-rays to investigate what was causing her ongoing discomfort and the results revealed a serious problem 🩻

Aspen had developed bladder stones and she needed to be taken straight into surgery for a cystotomy. Naturally we said yes, despite knowing it would be expensive.

During the operation, the veterinary team removed three bladder stones that had been causing her pain and preventing her from getting better (please see the pinned comment for pictures of her Xray and stones 🙈).

Thankfully, Aspen is now back with us and recovering well. She is more comfortable, eating, and receiving lots of love while she heals 💕

She will unfortunately have to be on a special diet for life to prevent these stones from re-forming.

Whilst we are incredibly relieved that Aspen has had the treatment she desperately needed, her surgery has left us with a bill of £1,300 💰

If you are able to help towards Aspen's veterinary costs, no matter how small the donation, it would be hugely appreciated. Every penny you are able to donate helps us continue providing lifesaving treatment to animals like Aspen when they need it most 🙏

This is the lovable Jasmine, a stunning girl with a big personality and plenty of love to give 💕

She has sadly been returned to our care as she was struggling to live alongside the other cats in the home - because of this, Jasmine is looking for a home where she can be the only cat and enjoy all the attention to herself.

This friendly girl loves human company and is always happy to receive a fuss and a stroke. She is very affectionate but also has a sassy side that makes her full of character and charm. Jasmine enjoys being involved in what you're doing and isn't afraid to let her personality shine through 🌟

One of Jasmine's favourite things is playtime. She loves chasing toys, exploring the outside, and keeping herself entertained, so she'll need a home that can provide plenty of enrichment and interaction.

Jasmine is looking for a family who will appreciate her playful spirit, respect her independent moments, and give her the loving, cat-free home she needs to thrive. In return, she promises to be a fun, affectionate, and an entertaining companion 🐾

We would love to introduce Boggle, Sudoku, Scrabble, and Jigsaw - four adorable, sociable kittens who are ready to begin their next adventure 🧩

Their wonderful mum, Puzzle, has done an incredible job raising them, and they have grown into confident, playful little characters. Now the time has come for them to find loving families of their own and start the next chapter of their lives.

As always, we will be rehoming our kittens in pairs, allowing them to continue enjoying the companionship, confidence, and comfort they provide each other. Watching them play, cuddle, and explore together is a joy, and we'd love that bond to continue in their new homes 🏡

As highlighted in a recent post, we do not like matching kittens based on appearance, we instead love to carefully consider each application to ensure every kitten is placed in the home, family, and lifestyle that we feel will suit them best, giving both the kittens and their adopters the greatest chance of a happy, lifelong family.

When the catnip hits harder than expected ... 😳

How brave would you feel standing on top of a plane thousands of feet in the air?

That is exactly what our incredible Claire Gifford will be doing on 5th August when she completes a thrilling wing walk to raise vital funds for RSPCA Worcester & Mid-Worcestershire Branch.

Claire has supported our branch as an employee since 2009 and is always finding new ways to raise money for the animals in our care. This challenge may be one of her boldest yet!

As a self-funded charity, we rely heavily on fundraising and the generosity of our supporters. Every donation to Claire’s challenge will help us continue providing care, treatment and a safe place for local animals who need us.
