✨ What. A. Day!! ✨
We are absolutely blown away by the support shown at today’s Community Market. A huge thank you to every single person who came along and helped make the day such a fantastic success. With over 250 people through the doors, the atmosphere was incredible, and it was wonderful to see so many members of our community coming together. ❤️
We made some changes to the way the market operates to help make things fairer for everyone, and we’re delighted that so many people felt they had a better opportunity to access the items they need. We are always looking for ways to improve, so if you have any comments or suggestions, please send us a message. We genuinely value your feedback and will discuss all ideas at our next meeting.
We would also like to express our sincere gratitude to Kelty & Blairadam Ex-Servicemens Club for so generously providing us with a venue for our markets. Their kindness and community spirit make such a difference, and without their support, events like this would be much more difficult to run. We are incredibly thankful for their ongoing generosity.
We would also like to thank our local councillor, Alex Campbell, for coming along and taking the time to speak with everyone and see how we run the markets. We really appreciate his interest and support, and it was great to have him join us on the day.
We would also like to say a huge thank you to North Road Garage for their continued support. They kindly provide us with a van that we use to collect goods for the market, which is an enormous help and plays a vital role in making our events possible. We are very grateful for their generosity and community-minded support.
Most importantly, we want to give a very special thank you to our amazing volunteers. The commitment, dedication and hard work that goes into making these markets happen is truly remarkable. From the planning and preparation behind the scenes to the long hours on market days, every volunteer plays a vital role. We simply could not do this without you, and we are so grateful for everything you do. 💙
Today’s market was a wonderful reminder of what can be achieved when a community comes together to support one another. Thank you for being part of it, thank you for your kindness, and thank you for helping us make a positive difference.
