• From 08:00 on Monday 1st June 2026 to 16:00 on Thursday 4th June 2026.
• From 08:00 on Monday 8th June 2026 to 16:00 on Thursday 11th June 2026.
• From 08:00 on Monday 15th June 2026 to 16:00 on Thursday 18th June 2026.

Alternative Route:

Southbound – via Woodmarket, Rose Lane, Horsemarket, The Square and Bridge Street to point of closure

One Way

The one-way on Abbey Row will be suspended for the duration of the above closure.

No Waiting

Parking will be prohibited on the following road for the duration of the above closure at such times the appropriate signage is in place:

- Abbey Row, Kelso – both sides of the road.

Please be aware the the Abbey Row centre will be closed for groups on 7th May as it will be used as a polling station.

Abbey Row Community Centre are looking for a new treasurer to take over from our long-serving incumbent in June - can you help?

We're looking for someone take on overseeing billing our hirers, initiating payments and overseeing our finances, as well as some infrequent meetings.

Abbey Row is a vital community resource for Kelso and the surrounding areas - could you or someone you know give up a few hours to help keep thing running smoothly?

Thanks to Borders Community Action and Live Borders, we are having the loft space at Abbey Row fully insulated. The work starts today and will be done by the end of the week.

The Abbey Row Management Committee are looking for a Treasurer, to begin after our AGM on June 3rd. Our current Treasurer will sadly be stepping down after six and a half years' sterling service.
If you are interested in the role or know someone who might be, do please get in touch.
