💕A year of 40s for Carina 💕

2026 marks what would have been Carina’s 40th birthday. We miss her so incredibly much, but the strength and passion she showed for life is an inspiration to us all.
So with that in mind, I’ve decided to set myself a series of challenges throughout the year involving the number 40. The biggest of which will take place on her birthday month of July and will be a 40m or 132 feet bungee swing up at Highland Fling near Pitlochry.

The rest of the challenges that I have set out can be done from home, in the hope that many of you, including kids, will get involved.

Let’s go out there, get moving and celebrate our Carina, whilst also raising as much awareness as possible for Beyond Limits.

Massive congratulations to on completing his 57-mile run from Glasgow to Edinburgh on Saturday (11/10/25) in memory of Carina🪽!
His fundraising efforts have raised £1,007 for our charity💕.

Welcome to Beyond Limits – a charity founded by Kieran Douglass for his fiancée, Carina.

Carina was diagnosed with secondary breast cancer in February 2023. Even through hospital trips, endless scans, and tough rounds of treatment, she carried herself with a strength and positivity that inspired everyone around her. She refused to let cancer define her – that was just who Carina was: strong, selfless, and unstoppable.

To honour her 38th birthday, and the incredible woman she was, we created Beyond Limits. The name needs no explanation – Carina went beyond expectations every single day and pushed limits in everything she did.

Through Beyond Limits, every penny raised goes directly to Make 2nds Count, a charity funding research into secondary breast cancer and supporting those living with it. This cause was, and always will be, close to our hearts.

Carina may no longer be with us, but her spirit lives on through this charity. Beyond Limits is our way of keeping her legacy alive – spreading her strength, hope, and kindness to others.
