Pear Tree Pottery We are a group of volunteers who have set up community pottery workshop in the village of Sprouston, we are also a charity. You'll become addicted. SC046345

We have now been running our workshops for 9 years. We are a local pottery based in Scottish Borders. The pottery has been running for 6 years and in tht time we have had other potters coming into show us ideas. This is a community workshop and open to everyone .We are amateur potters still learning ourselves but we know the basics of pottery. We have 3 potters wheels for anyone tht would like a g

o on them. Also theres the option to hand build with clay. It's a very enjoyable experience in what ever you do. We are a Registered Charity, Charity No.

What a fantastic morning at our members’ Raku session!

Today’s theme was animals and sea creatures, and everyone produced some amazing pieces. The photos really don’t do them justice – the colours are absolutely stunning in real life.

It was lovely to see everyone heading home with something they were genuinely proud of. We can’t wait to see what the next group creates in a couple of weeks’ time.

And, perhaps the biggest surprise of the day… the sun actually turned up too! 🌞 (Clearly even the weather wanted to watch the Raku magic happen

Hi everyone we are offering An extra hour in the morning session, normally they are 10 til 12, we are offering a extra hour which would b 10 til 1. The cost would be an extra hour more, cause sometimes 2 hours isn't enough of me time. 😁 So anyone wanting to book in just mention of ud like 2 or 3 hours 😊. Also we are open to beginners as well. Here's some recent items that have been fired 😊.
