Come and join us in 2 weeks, from 1-3pm on Thursday 18th December at Oakworth Village Hall, for our annual Christmas afternoon tea event. We will be serving refreshments including a light buffet with savouries, cakes and nibbles, along with tea and coffee. We will also be holding a Christmas raffle with various prizes including an iced Christmas cake, a food hamper and lots more. The cost of the event is £2.50 per person, raffle tickets will be £1 for a strip of 5, so join us for an afternoon of fun and laughs, we look forward to seeing you.

Hello lovely Shed followers. This week we are having a talk from the Canal and River Trust about all the amazing work they do to protect our waterways. This will be on Thursday, during our normal session at Oakworth Village Hall from 1-3pm. The cost is £2.50 per person and includes refreshments. Why not pop along for a cuppa and see what they do, we look forward to seeing you.

Hello lovely Shed followers. A quick update to let you know that next Thursday, 6th November, we will be having a talk from the lovely people at Action Point Community Support Services, who will be coming to talk about their befriending scheme for local people aged 65+. This is a great opportunity to get information for you and family members who are possibly socially isolated. Why not come along and join us for refreshments and a chance to listen to what will be an informative talk. This will take place during our regular weekly meetings on a Thursday from 1-3pm at Oakworth Village Hall. The cost is £2.50 per person, including refreshments.

Hello lovely Shed followers. A quick reminder that it’s our annual MacMillan coffee afternoon event tomorrow at Oakworth Village Hall, from 1-3pm. Why not pop in and have some delicious homemade cakes and coffee and help us raise money for this wonderful charity x

Hello lovely Shed followers. Just a quick reminder that our annual MacMillan coffee afternoon event is next Thursday, 25th September from 1-3pm at Oakworth Village Hall. There will be coffee, tea and lots of delicious home made cake and treats, all being sold to raise funds for this amazing charity. Everyone is very welcome and we look forward to raising lots of money.

Hello lovely Shed followers. Just a quick reminder that this week, we are having a talk from Guide Dogs for The Blind, plus a visit from a guide dog and its owner. The talk is open to everyone and takes place during our weekly session on Thursday 1-3pm at Oakworth Village Hall. Its £2.50 per person and that includes refreshments. We hope you can come and join us.

Hello lovely Shed Followers. Great news, we are opening up again after our summer holidays. Our weekly sessions start again on Thursday 4th September from 1pm-3pm at Oakworth Village Hall, Chapel Lane, Oakworth. The sessions cost £2.50 per person including refreshments. We have lots planned for our first month back including:-
11th September - a visit from Guide Dogs for the Blind at 1.30pm, who will be talking about the amazing work they do training the guide dogs and also we will have the chance to meet one of their dogs.
25th September - our annual MacMillan coffee morning fund raiser with lots of home made cakes and treats to raise funds for this fantastic charity.
All our sessions are open to everyone so why not pop in, have a chat and a coffee and see what we do, we look forward to seeing you.
