💙💙 LITTLE ALAN … 40 cat house 💙💙

Well, hello everyone!

I’m Alan.

I used to live with loads of cats in a house!! Tons of them!! I’m at the Centre now & I’m super helpful. I like to help the cat care team with pen checks & feeding.

I’m also a nurse so I watch them giving meds to my house mates. I love keeping busy & watching everything. I’ve got sore eyes too as you can see.

The cat care team gave me & my mate Bob some toys. It keeps us busy & we love them!! We didn’t have these at the house we lived at before….

I love cuddles and loves. One day soon I’ll be well & I’m getting myself one of those furever homes they keep talking about.

(Except it won’t have 33+ plus cats in it and I get to have a family all to myself)

Despite being very young herself, Flo has proved herself to be a complete natural this afternoon by giving birth to 5 gorgeous babies. There are 2 girls and 3 boys. She will now raise her babies in a warm and safe environment with a full tummy. She will then be spayed before finding her very own furever home. Supporting your local rescue means that more of these precious lives can be saved, be it by donating, volunteering, fostering or just raising awareness by sharing the work they do.

Flo’s babies are still cooking. It’s now 2.5 weeks since she was rescue from appalling conditions alongside 32 other cats and kittens. Can’t be much longer now. Safe and sound.

Meet Bob!

Hiya… I’m Bob.. a young chap with poorly eyes….

Thankfully YCR have got me some medicine for my eyes now so they should get better…. And they don’t hurt as much.

It’s been a bit frightening all this moving about but there are perks…. We all get a bowl of food each in a morning and on a night …. And we get treats!!

I couldn’t believe it! But I was talking to one of the cats from the other block and she said your always supposed to get your own bowl of food …. I told her that we never have …. She said that’s sad and she said that in her old house there was only here there…. 😳

I told her that there were loads of us in our house and she said that’s not right you are supposed to have a family just for you 😳…. She said her mummy had gone into hospital so that’s why she had come to YCR but she said it’s a good place and not to be frightened…..

I think I might like it here …. And maybe when my eyes are better I can get a family just for me …. 🤭 that’s what I will dream about tonight…. My very own family and my own food bowl every day …..

Beautiful Flo is at the ‘swallowed a bowling ball’ stage of her pregnancy. Not too long now.
