Also, well done to PSGT (SCC) Copperwaite, who has finally completed all his adult modules and will be promoted to Sergeant (SCC).

AGM Notification

Dear Parent/Guardian or Supporter,

Keighley Sea and Royal Marine Cadets is an independent registered charity and local youth organisation that works with children aged between 10 and 18 years. As you are most likely aware, the unit is run entirely by volunteers, both staff and management, who dedicate a great deal of their spare time to working with the cadets. Without our volunteers, the Keighley unit would not exist. With additional help, we could run the unit more efficiently, benefiting the cadets.

We are writing to inform you that our AGM is being held on:

We would like to invite you to join us and show your support, find out how we are running the unit and what our plans are for the year ahead.

‼️PLEASE STAY SAFE AROUND OPEN WATER‼️

As we head into the warmer summer months, we would like to remind all cadets, families and members of our local community about the dangers of swimming in open water.

Whilst lakes, reservoirs, canals and rivers may look inviting in the heat, they can be extremely dangerous. Cold water shock, strong currents and unseen hazards can quickly turn a fun moment into a tragic accident.

Sadly, lives are lost every year in open water incidents. Please think carefully, stay safe and encourage others to do the same.

No swim is worth risking your life for!
