🎪 All the fun of the fair! 🎪

A massive well done to our Beaver colony on running their funfair on 4th May! They’ve all earned their Community Impact badge by supporting the foodbank and running an amazing event 🤩

The Beavers would like to thank Morrisons Community Champion Gail for the donation of food for their snack bar and everyone who attended/handed donations in.

The volunteers at Beavers are so proud of everything the Beavers have done over the last term from the planning stages to actually running their event.

We have dropped off all of our donations at Morrisons + had a look around the store, playing a food scavenger hunt and ending with a sweet treat from the bakery 🍩

Our Beaver Colony have been busy over the last month working towards their Community Impact badge 🌍

As part of this, the Beavers have been organising their very own funfair on Monday 4th May 2026 to raise awareness to a cause!

The Beavers have chosen to support Renfrewshire Foodbank after discussing how sometimes people struggle to afford basic necessities + how foodbanks can provide help and support.

Instead of charging an entry fee, they’ve decided to ask for donations to help those in need.

🥾☀️ Kiltwalk 2026 – Big Stroll Complete!

What an incredible day! Today, 12 Scouts aged 11–17 and 5 adult volunteers took on the Kiltwalk Big Stroll — 14.5 miles from Clydebank to Balloch — and smashed it in fantastic sunshine!

We are so proud of every single one of our young people who completed the challenge today. It was a brilliant day out and a fantastic effort from everyone involved.

We're also thrilled that we have already smashed our fundraising target, but there's still time to donate!

Every extra pound raised goes directly toward camps for our young people, so if you'd like to support us! 💛🙌

On Saturday 25th April, some of our members will be taking part in the Glasgow Kiltwalk! 🥾

We have 10 Scouts, 2 Explorers and 3 volunteers all lacing up their boots to walk the Big Stroll — 14.5 miles through Glasgow in aid of our group.

All money raised goes directly back into funding activities and adventures for our young people.

If you'd like to sponsor us, even a small amount makes a real difference:

Our Scouts and Explorers will be taking part in the Kiltwalk on the 25th of April to raise money for camps.

We currently have spaces in our beaver colony for new members.

Beavers is for boys and girls aged between 6 and 8 and is a great way to have fun and meet new friends.

We meet on a Monday Night from 6:30 to 7:30, the first 2 weeks are free to come see if you like it.

From Archery and fire-lighting to crafts and science experiments, no two weeks are the same.

All of our sections offer fun and exciting activities for boys and girls aged 5¾ to 14.

Our sections will be starting back shortly after the new year shortly.

We currently have spaces in Beavers for new members, Cubs and Scouts are currently operating a waiting list.

Beavers - (5¾ to 8 ) - Monday 6:30 - 7:30
Cubs - (8 to 10½ ) - Monday 7:30 - 9:00 (Waiting List)
Scouts - (10½ to 14 ) - Friday 7:30 - 9:30 (Waiting List)

Huge thank you to everyone who came down the coffee morning today. A special thank you goes to all of the Volunteers and young people who ran all of the stalls.
We raised a total of £550 which will go towards camps next year.
