Jedburgh and District Recreation Board We are members of the community around Jedburgh coming together to get the curling rink going again !

We would like to thank everyone for their most gracious patronage this winter season! We have loved every minute of the full seats in the rink whether it be our wing nights or the late nights at the bonspiel! The riders who packed our house for the sled derby are second to none!

Our fridge and freezer are empty and as such we are going to shut down our curling and wings for the season . Thank you again and please stayed tuned for upcoming events and our expansion announcement !

Sorry for the late post but here’s what’s happening this week at the rink!

Tonight Tuesday March 24 @ 7 pm we are having our monthly meeting (all are welcome)

Stay tuned for whether there will be curling and wings tomorow , will make a post tonight !

Well the rink was full again last night with curling and chicken wings!!
Thanks to Richardson , Truck Pro, Cornerstone Credit Union and Ag West Yorkton for bringing out crews to eat and enjoy in our small town!
Thank you for not only your sponsorship and donations but also for making the drive to come check out our little rink!

Well we lucked out with the weather yesterday on our annual snowmobile derby! A ton of sleds
, pounds of hamburgers and a lot of great prizes and cash payouts!
Thank you to all the riders and people that made the trek to our small town! We hope you enjoyed yourself and look forward to next year! Lastly thanks to all our volunteers especially our kitchen staff whom put in 14 hour day yesterday !
THANK YOU cannot be said enough to everyone!

All the amazing door prizes and silent auction items are up for grabs tomorow as well as rider only prizes you get a chance to win just for registering for the derby!

Well the day before the derby the trail is marked! Approx 40 miles of marked ungroomed trail to enjoy through the trees and bush.

Thanks to the group who do the trail every year and to the plow man for plowing our halfway spot.

Big thank you to Edfield Motors who lent us a sled to pull our sign sleigh with! They are second to none!

The parking lots are plowed and looking forward to seeing everyone tomorow !

Our Wing Wednesday night had some special visitors! The crew from Richardson in Yorkton came out and attempted to drain the kitchen of chicken wings but they did not succeed haha!

A big thank you to the yorkton group and the Richardson group ! Their generous donation towards improving our facility is amazing !

Our rink will now proceed with some much needed improvements that will be announced after our sled derby! The building will be getting a much needed and costly structure……
