Well Sunday was another success and Mr Blue Sky didn’t disappoint. ☀️

We have a lot of people to thank as without them Party in the Park would not have been the same.

Thanks to Mr John Doonan for his help and guidance.
To Paula and the Protons, Two Metres Apart Apart and the Gaslighters for an amazing afternoon of entertainment.
To the sound guys for making the day happen and making sure that everyone could hear and enjoy the band’s.

To William and his team on the Fairground considering the distance they had to travel to be with us.
To Micky our lovely Icecream man.
To our face painters, The Ace Of Face and The Artful Splodger well done girls.
To Suzanne… Wow. Amazing stuff.
To everyone who donated a raffle prize.
To everyone who kindly donated to the Go Fund Me page so that we could hire an extra toilet.
To the CAF for the grant they awarded us which was used to put on the event.
To G Watson Tool Hire in South Shields for their generosity in donating the generator used to ensure that people had hot water for their cuppa.
To our army of helpers on the day who got up early to set everything up and to those who helped put it all away again.

Last but not least our amazing group of volunteers who never stopped throughout the day. They also work all year round fundraising so that we can put Party in the Park on, without them the day would not happen.

Finally thank you all for coming in your thousands to make it a great day.

West Park Community Group is bringing the fun back to the park with live music from Paula and the Protons, Two Metres Apart, and The Gaslighters!

💫 We need your help!
We’re calling on local businesses and generous neighbours to donate tombola items and raffle prizes — every contribution helps make this community celebration even more special.

💚 It’s not too late to support us — you can still make a donation to our GoFundMe page and be part of something amazing!

🎠 Expect a day full of smiles, music, and laughter — with fairground rides, face painting, refreshments, and an ice cream van waiting for you.
