Reminder – STARS AGM – 16th November 2026
Just a reminder to all STARS members that our AGM will be held on 16th November 2026.
As usual, there will be a buffet and raffles, Our local Amateur Radio suppliers, Canny Components will also be bringing along a table of goodies for sale! If there's anything special you'd like them to bring, please let Dave or Amanda know beforehand, and they'll do their best to bring it along.
Committee Nominations
I'm looking for nominations for the committee positions of Chairman, Treasurer and Secretary.
Due to ill health I would really like to stand down as Secretary, so if anyone is interested in taking over, please don't hesitate to put yourself forward. I'll be more than happy to help and support whoever takes on the role until they're settled in and confident with everything.
Any Other Business (AOB)
If there's anything you'd like to raise under AOB, please let me know at least 21 days before the AGM so it can be included.

Ref: Annual General Meeting (AGM) 2026
Its that time of year yet again!!!!
The 2026 STARS AGM will be held on the 16th November 2026 at 1930hrs. The agenda for the meeting is as follows:
1. Opening Address;
2. Minutes of the previous meeting;
3. Chairman’s report;
4. Treasurer’s report;
5. Secretary’s report;
6. Election of new committee;
7. Election of co-opted posts;
8. Any Other Business;
9. Christmas meal.
Please can you submit all Nominations for anyone wishing to stand as committee members no less than 21 days prior to the AGM.
Any items to be raised by members under Any other business must be notified to the secretary no less than 21 days before the AGM to be included on the agenda.
