Great performances from Mini Medda at Shoot Soccer today in their AYFL fixtures! ⚽️💙

Some tough opposition on show, but the boys more than stood the test and gave a brilliant account of themselves throughout the morning.

Not our traditional team photo tonight… we’ve got a video instead 🎥

World Cup fever well and truly hit the Medda this evening, with all the boys buzzing ahead of Scotland’s appearance tomorrow night. 🏴󠁧󠁢󠁳󠁣󠁴󠁿⚽️

As always, the effort and enthusiasm from the boys was outstanding. They gave everything from start to finish and fully embraced the Scotland theme.

The only thing we might need to work on is the singing… we reckon a few lessons might be required before the national anthem gets underway tomorrow! 🤣🎶

⚽️ Baller of the Week Time! ⚽️

A massive well done to Elliott Jolly! 👏🏻

Another young man who sets a fantastic example for the rest of the boys in the team.

From encouraging and driving his teammates on Wednesday to putting in a brilliant effort during tonight’s drills, Elliott has been outstanding all week. His attitude, work rate and ability were there for everyone to see.

What has really impressed us is his development as an all-round footballer. He’s maturing into a very balanced player who contributes in every area of the game.

A fully deserved winner this week. Fantastic effort, Elliott! 👏🏻🏆

What a week from Finley Carlton! 👏🏻

Finley has absolutely smashed it this week and has been a standout performer across everything we’ve done. His effort, attitude and determination have been there for everyone to see.

The best part? Every single coach was of exactly the same opinion when it came to this week’s award. 💙

A fully deserved winner and a fantastic example of what we want to see from the boys every week.

⚽️ Irvine Meadow 2020’s are on their travels again this weekend! ⚽️

The boys are off to Shoot Soccer in Ayr for another round of AYFL games, with a 10:00am kick-off.

Please check the attached graphic for meet-up times. Teams will be shared in the group chat beforehand so everyone knows which coaches to look for.

A big well done to all the boys this week. 👏🏻

They’ve put in a fantastic effort across the sessions and have worked their socks off. It’s great to see them listening, learning and improving every single week.

Most importantly, they’re doing it all with smiles on their faces. 💙⚽️
