Ahead is the team of Ayrshire Community Builders. We are working in a number of areas in Ayrshire to support the growth of local community activity. We adopt an asset based approach to our work, focusing on the strengths and passions of local people. The approach is based on the work of the Asset Based Community Development Institute and we have benefited from training and input from Cormac Russel

l from the Institute. We are currently funded by NHS Ayrshire and Arran, with support from South Ayrshire and North Ayrshire Councils. Our work is being evaluated on behalf of the Scottish Government by the Social Marketing Gateway. If you’d like to know more, drop us an email; [email protected]
