I did it!! Today was a big job and I cleared over 80kg by myself 💪 That takes me to about 520kg of litter I've tidied in 2024!! Do you think I should go for 1000kg!? Let me know below ⬇️

Hello! It was a bit calmer tonight and the beach needed my help.

We thought it was a good idea to do a litter survey too to see what kind of litter is getting washed in because of the bad weather. We surveyed over 400 pieces of litter. It was very messy!

I've added 29kg to my total. Not much more to go to get to my 500kg target.

Don't stop cleaning!

Please stop ruining the beach!

I managed 17kg in about 40 minutes this morning. There was so much rubbish!

In total Irvine Clean Up Crew lifted 28 bags of litter. If their bags were as heavy as mine, that is at least 140kg of stuff that shouldn't be left on a beach. We also rescued 42 towels. It's a bit silly and sad that some people think leaving this much mess is ok.

Hello! I'm back!

I joined Irvine Clean Up Crew for a litter pick this morning and found a bike and cleaned up lots of other mess from the bushes.

I've added 32kg to my total. That bike was heavy!

Well done to everyone else out helping this morning. We made a difference. 🌍🌿
