UPDATE! Our Chip Run to Clacton next week (27th) has clashed with the Clacton Air Show. Anyone who’s been to the show will know just how busy it gets. Therefore the SAM Chip Run is being moved to the 3rd September. Same starting place. Same venue. Please update your diaries/calendars.

Our publicity team are at the Suffolk Biker Family Charity event today. If you are there taking part why not have a chat with them about the IAM RoadSmart Advanced Rider course and other group activities.

An excellent turn out for the SAM August Saturday Jaunt to The White Hart Inn at Boxford for coffee/cakes/bacon rolls. Thanks to the ride leaders.

A good turn out of 22 riders for the SAM August Breakfast Run. Today we headed off to The Hungry Stag at Woolpit via a circuitous route around Suffolk. SatNavs were challenged again with a road closure when we'd only got less than a mile out of Ipswich.

Thanks to all the SAM members who marshalled today's East Anglian Copdock Bike Show's Fun Run. We had a heavy downpour as we headed out to our points on the route. Some of us also encountered a herd of deer on the just outside Coddenham on the way to Pettaugh. The sun shone for the rest of the day for everyone at The Red Feather Club 95th Bomb Group Museum.

A good turn out this evening for the SAM July Chip Run to Attleborough Sea Star Fish Bar. Lovely summers evening and a challenging route. Some variations between the groups with a road closure into Attleborough and assorted roadworks on the way.

A good turn out today for the SAM Saturday Jaunt for July. The destination was The Shepherds Baa Lynford. The temperature had dropped so it was nice and cool and we got a little flurries of very light rain. A nice route on a mixture of roads.
