RDA Ipswich Group We are a small RDA group operating twice a week based at Bentley Riding School near Ipswich. Registered charity number 1163321

RDA Ipswich Group runs a Tuesday morning group for adults and a Thursday lunchtime group for children (a closed session in partnership with a local school for their pupils only). We are always looking for volunteers who can help at either of these and if you can spare some time on either of these days (term time only and you don't need to be available every week) please send this page a message.

Thanks to a kind donation from Jan who was one of our volunteers a while back we now have a hobby horse for our RDA riders. This is 'Woody' so called because it's what his 'body' is made of but we thought it's also a small nod to the memory of our founder the late Mary Woods too. Hobby horse activities are now part of Riding for the Disabled Association (RDA) virtual championships too but given as Woody is still settling in we wont be asking that of him this year!

Many thanks to everyone who supported our dog show today. To all who took part, all who helped with the event, our judges and stallholders. Our sponsors including Gladwells Pet & Country Stores, The Well Heeled Hound, and of course our hosts and organisers Go Frolic especially Lucy and a number of members of her family. We'll let you know how much was raised as soon as we can but thank you again.

Look at this - sunny intervals and a gentle breeze - the weather couldn't be better on Saturday for our charity dog show at Go Frolic. There's still time to book an 'early bird' place with three classes for the price of two (further classes on the day will be £2.50 each) at this link https://www.entrycentral.com/RDA-DogShow
Our classes include: Waggiest Tail; Best Rescue or Rehomed; Young Handler (in two age groups) and of course The Dog the Judge would most like to take home. We are very grateful to The Well Heeled Hound and Gladwells Pet & Country Stores for their support of this event too.

If you sign up in advance you will receive 3 class entries for £5 (you can choose which classes on the day). Entries on the day will cost £2.50 a class so you are getting 3 classes for the price of 2 with this early bird entry.
