ZERO OVERHEAD - no paid officials - reach deserving people, down to the last penny - first in the UK to focus on those who deserve Zakat in the UK - pioneers with engagement in da'wah (30 years) - caters to a growing base of needy people - grassroots engagement and personal vetting - totally non-partisan - safe & legal and assures total peace of mind. JIMAS (Charity Registration No. 1060695) has pioneered and has been spearheading collection and distribution of Zakat in the UK for almost ten years. JIMAS is continuously breaking new grounds through co-operation with local authorities, charities and independent yet personal liaison. Our work extends to the society at large through education programs, classes, exhibitions, seminars in schools, town halls, museums, churches and discussion forums on various faith based or political platforms. We consider every zakat application and personally check claimants or proactively find deserving people in society.
