We are back to share with you more of our work for this year’s Jubilant Festival!
💛 Earlier in the summer term we visited Combs Ford to work with their Year 4s on this 🔥🔥 installation.
💛 Everyone created a head, a body and legs/feet for their piece. Each piece was then attached to a side on different boxes. The result is this playful, interactive work.
💛 The theme for this year was REVOLUTION. We decided to focus on personal revolution; the changes we can all make to do better and be better.
💛Dan told an Afghan story of a father and daughter who learn that true wealth comes from kindness and generosity. We then thought about what change we want to bring to the world.
💛 Each section can be turned to create new identities. We were of course blown away by what the kids involved brought to this project - always brave and bold and showing us how to create something brilliant and authentic.
💛 This work celebrates their voices and is for them.
Year 4s, you are 🔥 and we LOVED our time with you.
Thank you also to everyone at Jubilant, especially Anna, who backed our project from the start and have been so welcoming to us. We are so looking forward to the festival tomorrow. More visual of this are on stories 👀
