Whilst we are incredibly grateful to everyone who makes the effort to donate food, we need to kindly ask that no perishable foods are left in there going forward.
This includes breads, fruits, salads, milks, meats and anything else with a very short shelf life, or subject to go bad in hot weather.
With the current heat the food is turning bad before anyone can collect it, meaning the pantry is becoming a food disposal unit instead of its original intention of providing food to those who need it most.
Unfortunately, if perishable foods continue to be left in there, we will have no option but to close the pantry. Thank you for your understanding 🙏
