Charity providing, through the medium of sail training, opportunities for young people & vulnerable adults to discover their sense of adventure, whilst developing transferable skills that will aid their educational, personal & social development. We are a sail training charity and our goal is to provide, through the medium of sail training, opportunities for young people and vulnerable adults to discover their sense of adventure, in the process developing transferable skills that will aid their educational, personal and social development. We are part of the Scout movement, but crews from all walks of life are welcome to sail with us - as well as Scout troops, Explorer units and Scout Networks, other regular users include schools, youth groups, cadets, adult groups, DofE Award groups, etc. Our two 49 foot Oyster ketches are available for weekend bookings throughout the season (April-October), whilst our longer bank holiday weekend and week long summer voyages provide the opportunity to go further afield - perhaps to a French or Belgian harbour.

Love this shot by our friends at all the crews

This year's Cowes Small Ships Race transformed into a powerful showcase of the true spirit of sail training, as over 300 young people, sea staff, and volunteers came together to tackle 34 challenges on the water and off. From boat bingo to flag making and buoy spotting to a mythical creature hunt, they had a fantastic day on the water! Now for the prize giving! 🌊💪
