We are delighted to currently be hosting our first Roots Ipswich Cookery Course!

This pilot is designed as a skill-share for local residents, providing the opportunity to get first hand experience in a professional kitchen, try new recipes from around the world and improve well-being amongst our community.

Participants have learnt how to make barista style coffees, make delicious Samosas and the popular Roots Honey and Almond cake. A few have even signed up for Volunteer shifts at Roots trying out their hand in the kitchen helping to prepare our daily menu or testing out their customer service skills.

Look out for some exciting new additions to the Roots menu coming soon!

This course is made possible thanks to funding from Suffolk Community Foundation's Food and Drink Fund and Ipswich Borough Council's Sustainable Community Food Fund.
