5th Ipswich Scouts are looking for additional Trustees to strengthen their current board. 5th Ipswich has a long established history in the Rushmere area of Ipswich with it's own hall which is used by a range of community groups. As a Trustee you will play a vital role in making sure that we achieve our core aims, to engage and support young people to become active members of their community.
Maybe you have never been a Trustee before but you are keen to support our work. Perhaps you aren't sure if you have the right skills for the role. Alternatively you may have been a committee member or Trustee for another organisation. We are keen to speak to you and hear what skills and insight you could bring to compliment our existing board.
Board members have a collective responsibility. This means that trustees always act as a group and not as individuals. You can be sure that your fellow Trustees will support you in developing into your role.
We are particularly keen to hear from young adults aged 18 to 30 and/or those who have experience in building management. You should have a commitment to improving community facilities and supporting the development of young people Ipswich.
