DM Yoga return to Tower Hall this season with their soundbaths with reiki sessions.....

Hello everyone,

Just a little reminder that our Sound Baths with Reiki are returning this October, and Becky and I would love to welcome you back.

Autumn always feels like nature giving us permission to slow down.

After the activity and energy of summer, the evenings become darker, life begins to turn inwards, and perhaps we can take that as our cue to do the same.

90 minutes where there is nowhere else you need to be.

No rushing.
No looking after everyone else.
No list of things you should be doing.

Just time to lie down, be still, receive the sounds and Reiki, and allow yourself to deeply rest.

This year we also want our monthly evenings to be about more than the Sound Bath itself. Each month we will introduce simple ideas and practices that you can take away with you to support your own wellbeing between sessions.

Our first evening is:

£20 per person — and we have kept the price the same.

If you've been thinking, "I'd really like to come," this is your little nudge to actually put that time aside for yourself.

You don't need any previous experience of sound baths, Reiki, meditation or energy work. Simply come as you are.

Becky and I are really looking forward to beginning these evenings again and sharing this lovely space with you.

Dotty About Cards will be 21 years young on Tuesday evening.

If you, or someone you know, enjoys cardmaking, guests and new members are always welcome.

Each month they have a card making demo and everyone receives a kit so they can have a go at making the demo. If you have your own tools and kit you can take them aling but they always have equipment you can use on the night. There's also time to work on your own card making project or to take along another craft you enjoy eg knitting, sewing.

We are delighted to welcome a new weekly hirer to Tower Hall this month.

Enable Fitness are starting their signature Strength and Mobility Classes on Friday 24th July at 2pm.

"These classes are perfect for those who are conscious they need to maintain their balance and strength through aging or those who are feeling a bit creaky, want to avoid any high impact activity or getting on and off the floor.
We can support those with mobility issues or health conditions to move safely by adapting the exercises to you e.g. offering a seated alternative if needed or incorporating a balance aid"

Tower Hall is available to hire on Sundays for children's parties.

From £60 for 3 hours (which includes your setting up and clearing away time).

Your hire includes use of the kitchen facilities and enclosed rear garden.

The hall has plenty of tables and chairs and is also suitable for afternoon teas, baby showers, family gatherings, table top sales etc too.

Pop along and browse a hall full of local crafters who have been busy making wonderful creations over the winter months. There will also be a fundraising cake stall and teas and coffees available too. Free entry.
